Materials

We chose aluminium for our casing because it is light, can be milled with high precision and is fully recyclable. Anodising is an electrolytic passivation process that increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. The process is called anodising because the part being treated forms the anode electrode of an electrolytic cell. Anodising increases corrosion and wear resistance and provides better adhesion for paint primers and adhesives than bare metal.

The Time Machine Double Base is built for collectors who refuse to compromise. Two independent winding modules sit on a single hand-cut Carrara marble base, each with its own Faulhaber motor and sensor pair.

Set different TPD and direction settings for each watch — a Rolex Submariner on the left, an Omega Seamaster on the right, each receiving exactly the winding programme it needs. The Time Machine app connects to both modules independently, drawing from a database of over 30,000 watch profiles.

Each module features dual front sensors for automatic watch detection: place your watch on, and winding begins; lift it off, and it stops. No buttons, no fuss.

The aluminium bodies are CNC-milled from a single block with a flawless finish. The Carrara marble base is hand-cut and unique in its veining — no two Double Base units look exactly the same.

Lithium-ion cells power both winders for up to a year on a single USB-C charge.
